Bosch Sensortec's BMI088 is a high-performance inertial measurement unit with high vibration suppression. This 6-axis sensor combines a 16-bit triaxial gyroscope and a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer in a miniature 16-pin LGA package. The BMI088 allows highly-accurate measurement of orientation and detection of motion along three orthogonal axes. Additionally, it provides accurate and reliable inertial sensor data even under demanding conditions, including environments where those conditions change, such as mechanical impacts and stress from shocks, vibrations and PCB bending, and thermal effects like heating. The closed-loop design of the gyro offers excellent stability and TCO, and the sensor offers programmable bandwidths from 5 hertz to 523 hertz. Target applications include industrial robots, domestic appliances, drones and flying toys.
