The block diagram gives a high-level view of the functional split across the development kit. The XVF3510 base board contains the minimum set of components required to implement an XMOS embedded solution (achieved by moving the Raspberry PI interface components to the separate PI HAT board). This makes it possible to interface to other AVS clients hosted on other back-end processors in the future.
