MPMA divider networks are appropriate for use in a variety of automotive applications such as battery management, engine control, audio and illumination circuits. Close ratio tolerance and TCR tracking are crucial when sensing voltages in a hybrid battery management circuit. When used with amplifiers the small voltage drop across the sensing resistor can amplify the signal gain. The ratio of R2/R1 and the close ratio match and tight TCR tracking over temperature provide stable measurement over time and temperature. These networks are also ideal in a variety of under the hood sense applications.
