Shown here is how the SiP32419/29 operate. When enabled, the devices allow a smooth rise of voltage and current at the output. Power Good which is active low is triggered when Vout reaches 90% of the target value. In the event of an output short, the device takes a short time to respond to the fault condition and begins to limit current at the programmed current limit. If the fault condition persists, and the device goes into over temperature, the output is turned off and stays off in the case of the SiP32419 and retries after a 150 ms deglitch time in the case of the SiP32429.
