In many circuits such as voltage dividers, tolerance matching (also known as relative tolerance) and TCR tracking are important for optimizing accuracy of the circuit. The advanced laser trimming process used to achieve the final resistance value of each resistive element allows for precise trimming of each resistor of the array, with tolerance matching as low as ±0.05%. TCR tracking performance is better compared to discrete chip resistors and is offered with specification as low as ±5 ppm/°C (relative) since the individual resistors of the ACAS array share the same ceramic substrate which acts as a thermocouple between the resistive elements. Additionally, the separate resistive elements are guaranteed to have been produced with the same manufacturing conditions since they are side by side on the same chip.
