In many circuits such as voltage dividers, tolerance matching (also known as relative tolerance) and TCR tracking is very important. The advanced laser trimming process used to achieve the final resistance value of each resistive element allows for precise trimming of each resistor of the array, with tolerance matching as low as ±0.05%. TCR tracking performance is better compared to discrete chip resistors and is offered with specification as low as ±5 ppm/°C (relative) since the individual resistors of the ACAS AT array share the same ceramic substrate which acts as a thermal couple between the resistive elements and because the separate resistive elements are guaranteed to have been produced with the same manufacturing conditions as they are side by side on the same chip.
