Known for high accuracy, excellent long term stability and repeatability, platinum RTDs also have a very fast thermal response and high thermal shock and vibration resistance. Platinum RTDs are ideally suited for a multitude of precision digital temperature measurement and control applications in markets such as Medical, Military, Aerospace, White Goods and Automotive. Littelfuse’s platinum RTDs have a temperature coefficient of 3850 ppm with standard resistance values of 100 Ω, 500 Ω and 1000 Ω at 0°C and with standard tolerances of Class A (±0.06%), Class B (±0.12%) and Class C (±0.24%) at 0°C. Littelfuse also offers platinum RTDs with 3750 ppm and with a standard resistance value at 0°C of 1000 Ω, and with standard tolerances of Class B (±0.12%) and Class C (±0.24%) at 0°C. Littelfuse’s standard RTDs operate over an extended temperature range of -50°C up to 500°C, though higher temperature ratings as well as other resistance values are available.
