The TRF7970A is capable of emulating (or being) a Type A or Type B card @ 106 kbps. The next few pages will demonstrate this emulation using the host stack and the embedded MCU library together. This NFC mode is being used for a variety of applications where larger tag sizes are needed. The previous pages showed the RF430CL330H, which is a dynamic tag with 3 kB of memory space available. This is similar, but with 8 kB of space. The size of the emulated card is really limited only by the settings in the system, meaning, the card could be indicated to be much larger.
