A variety of contact pin materials with different temperatures are available to suit different requirements. Most standard applications use Phosphor Bronze contact pins, which can support operating temperatures from -65°C up to +125°C. Beryllium Copper contacts are used both for high temperature and high cycle applications, and can support up to 150°C. Meanwhile, Spinodal contacts are suitable for high temperature applications but requires specific soldering methods. Finally, Beryllium Nickel contacts can withstand temperatures as high as 300°C operating temperature.
