Product List
The components and the anatomy of the plug connector are depicted here. Cable termination is achieved typically via solder or crimp contacts. The first half bushing is assembled to the insert and is aided with a keying feature. The other half bushing is then positioned in place around the opposite side of the insert. This contact/insert subassembly is then inserted into the shell via the keyed half bushings. Next, the collet and the sealing gland are inserted. Finally, the back nut is screwed onto the back of the shell finishing the assembly. Again, thoroughly detailed assembly instructions are shown in the catalog and on the Souriau-Sunbank by Eaton website.
