Optional network communications are available on any SDU AC-B UPS model. Support communication and monitoring in an upgradeable solution for control equipment applications are available in a wide array of industrial protocols, supported in one footprint and one UPS part number. Ethernet I/P™, Ethercat, ModBus^® TCP, and ProfiNet protocols allow the solution to easily integrate into existing environments and provide much needed data to their existing PLC’s and controllers. A relay contact card or various industrial protocols are seamlessly mounted directly in the SolaHD SDU AC-B series UPS for ease of installation and design flexibility. SolaHD also provides a standard web monitoring dashboard through UPS watch. This provides a visual display of UPS current status, historical logs, and the capability of even sending out text alerts to facilities management personnel.
