The SCD4x sensor is available in three product versions. The SCD40 is the low-cost variant that is ideal for cost-sensitive markets that do not have special requirements. The SCD40 has an accuracy of 50 ppm ±5% of measured value and an output range of 400 – 2000 ppm. The SCD41 is tailored to the European HVAC market and applications with a limited power-budget. Compared to the SCD40, the SCD41 has better accuracy, a larger specified range and features a single shot mode that allows operating the sensor at minimum power consumption. Finally, the SCD42 is the ideal fit for US HVAC applications that fall under the California Building Efficiency Act - Title 24. With a specified accuracy of ±75 ppm below 1000 ppm, the SCD42 is compliant with several building standards.
