This test validates that using the multipole magnetic ring technology results in an absolute position error, or overall accuracy of +/- 0.1°. Note that the results are very repeatable and the error is not cumulative. This level of accuracy can be visualized as hitting an 18” diameter target (the size of a basketball hoop) from a distance of one-half mile.
