It is very useful to have a system impedance curve of a chassis. This is created by running the chassis on an airflow chamber. If this is not available, flow simulations can also identify an expected operating point. The operating point should fall on an air mover PQ in order for it to provide suitable airflow. To note again, the PQ curves in catalogs are for 100% rpm conditions, so a worst-case operating point should be used.
