IPDs are separated into two different groups; one is low-side IPD and the other is high-side IPD. This slide shows an overview of ROHM’s low-side IPD product offering. As previously mentioned, the rich circuit design IP cores provide different sets of functions depending on the actual use case, such as variable slew rate control and diagnostic functions. They have an in-house dedicated process technology for IPD products starting from a conventional Bi-CDMOS process to the latest vertical trench MOSFET process technology. With these in-house fabs, ROHM offers an IPD ON-resistance range (of the integrated switch) from 10 mΩ to several hundreds of mΩ.
