Various easy-to-use tools are available for each step while the customer is developing RL78/G22. First, if the customer is not sure which MCU is suitable for the project, find out using the "Web Simulator“. No evaluation board or software tools are required, and the customer can quickly check the MCU performance online. After verifying the performance, the evaluation board will be helpful to kickstart the development. The customer can then use a debugger and programmer tools such as E2/E2 Lite and Bridge IC during the development. To start manufacturing, the customer can use the Renesas PG-FP6 Flash programmer and manufacturing tools. Renesas provides compilers, IDEs including Arduino IDE, and development support tools including QE for Capacitive Touch, supporting µITRON to accelerate the manufacturing process.
