The Renesas cloud kits are custom designed to highlight the specific MCU features for cloud connectivity. It has been designed as a reasonably priced kit to exclude all the extraneous features that add cost. These cloud kits are designed to support gateways for connectivity so included are two PMOD connectors to support any gateway solutions like BLE or Wi-Fi. Mobility is an important feature of cellular connectivity, so the kits are also designed to be portable and include a battery socket for three AA batteries. Software support is available on both solutions for the sensors including the out-of-box project which allows users to choose to mount the sensor and analyze the functionality.
