Minigrabber and Micrograbber clips are used to connect to small-diameter component leads and wires, usually for testing. They are commonly used for connecting to components that are mounted on circuit boards, or to probe individual wires in a multi-conductor connector. They may also be used as jumpers to temporarily route signals in prototype circuits. Alligator clips are used to connect to larger diameter components like power conductors, screw terminals, or lugs.
