The SF-ASD 16 is a lithium-ion battery-powered torque screwdriver. Torque is the force of the rotation of a fastener. It ensures that whatever is being tightened is not too tight nor too lose, which could cause a bad connection. Torque screwdrivers allow the operator to set the recommended force. The SF-ASD 16 has 32 torque settings; 16 on low RPMs and 16 on high RPMs, and can torque up to 38 inch-pounds.
