Laser Jet printers are very common in office and factory environments and they are well known to Engineers, Designers, and people throughout a business enterprise. Most of the time, Laser Jet printers are used for printing documents, presentations, graphs, and reports. The same reasons that Laser Jet printers are great for document printing also apply to label printing on letter size sheets of 8 ½ x 11 inches and can be used for many industrial applications. For example, Laser Jet labels are available for wire marking and cable marking and other labels for printers can be used for flat surface applications. Laser Jet printers are well known for fast printing speeds and they use a toner cartridge, which contains a powder mixture that forms the printed characters onto the label sheet material. Additionally, Laser Jet printers can print in either black and white or full color. However, full color Laser Jet printers can be more expensive than black and white. When printing in color, though, the print resolution, clarity, and quality is not quite as good as that of Ink Jet printers. Thus, Laser Jet printers are best for printing text based labels for electronic components, prototype designs, or measurement and test samples.
