Panasonic’s detector switch is a very simple component. It consists of the casing, actuator, metal spring, and contact pads. As the actuator is depressed, the spring makes contact with the contact pad and lets the device know the switch has been actuated. Due to this simple construction, Panasonic’s detector switches have a very low cost.
