Panasonic connectors are low profile, narrow pitch connectors with an exclusive Tough Contact design. Tough Contact offers the benefit of drop, torsion and environmental resistance for demanding portable and handheld applications. The socket and header combine to provide a mated height of 0.6 – 9.0mm depending on the part series. Pitch size represents the spacing between pins (or contacts) and is available down to 0.35mm. A higher pin count enables feature expansion within a compact device.  Additional features assist in the manufacturing process for increased productivity. A simple lock structure provides a positive click feeling with audible and tactile reinforcement during the assembly process. Stable coplanarity, or degree of warping, ensures all connector leads are on the same plane with minimal deviation to ensure proper soldering. Tough Contact connectors offer stable coplanarity values both during and after the reflow process.
