This table shows a comparison between Flash, Serial SRAM, and EEPROM. Most importantly, Flash memory is the most dense of the memory options with densities up to 8 Megabits (Mb). It offers a highly reliable non-volatile memory solution that serial SRAM cannot provide. Additionally, programing Flash is much faster than EEPROM. Flash memory is optimal for use in rugged environments where low-power and low-cost solutions are needed.
