The A22E is a modular e-stop that allows for the flexibility of multiple contact blocks or lighting modules, allowing the user to support up to six circuits, either normally open or normally closed, or a combination of LED backlighting and circuits which the user can add as their manufacturing process changes. This is Omron’s most cost-conscious e-stop product line. The A22NE-P e-stop product trades the modularity of the A22E series, instead focusing on vibration resistance and reduced depth. The contact blocks are fixed instead of modular and must be chosen initially based upon how many circuits are required. All A22NE-P e-stops using plus-in-plus termination as a method to increase its resistance towards high vibration applications or environments. It can be had with an IP65 oil-resistance rating as well. Lastly, the A22NE-P is also available in IP69K allowing for high-pressure cleaning environments such as the food and beverage manufacturing industry. This is Omron’s mid-grade e-stop product line. The A22NE-PD is Omron’s premier e-stop product line, which includes all of Omron’s available e-stop features. In addition to vibration resistance, IP65 oil resistance, and IP69K wash-down ratings, the A22NE-PD also includes lock detection, which detects if the operation unit and switch unit have been properly mounted together and minimizes malfunctions from improper installation.
