MAG3110-Slide2

A magnetometer is an instrument for measuring the magnitude and direction of a magnetic field. When combined with an accelerometer to compensate for tilt, it is primarily used as an eCompass. It could be used, for example, to enable map alignment while moving. NXP’s Xtrinsic MAG3110 3-axis magnetometer offers the highest resolution and lowest noise in the smallest package for navigation, dead reckoning and location tracking in mobile applications. Additionally, it features low power consumption and has efficient application software.
