Contrary to traditional in-circuit emulation which requires an external emulator, the Spyder08 uses the target microcontroller to perform in-circuit execution. The Spyder08 tests all of the microcontroller’s peripherals in real life and does not reconstruct or simulate them. This debugging approach ensures that the target microcontroller’s electrical characteristics (including pull-ups, low-voltage operations, and I/O thresholds) are 100% guaranteed.
