Welcome to the NXP Quad SPI Flash Interface (SPIFI) product training module. This module will present the Quad SPI Flash Interface, with a discussion of SPI Flash memory and the SPI Flash Interface. The three main types of MCU Flash memory will be reviewed and there will be an overview of the SPIFI physical connections and programming. Finally, the benefits of applying the Quad SPIFI rather than a parallel interface will be reviewed.
