Starting with the block diagram of the MCF51CN128 MCU, this ColdFire® V1 device is full-featured, with up to 46 Dhrystone 2.1 MIPS/MHz up to 50MHz, 128KB Flash and 24KB SRAM.  Also, the MCF51CN features up to 2MB external memory through the Mini-FlexBus support, allowing the ability to communicate with external interfaces such as CPLDs and FPGAs. The 10/100 Fast Ethernet controller with DMA also has an MII interface with an output clock for the PHY, eliminating the need for an additional external clock source. The MCF51CN operates off of a 1.8V to 3.6V power supply with Ethernet operation supported at 3V and above. Furthermore, it comes in three packaging options: 48-pin QFN, 64 LQFP, and 80-pin LQFP.
