NXP’s GNSS LNAs offer some of the smallest footprints in the market. Only two external components are required, which means designers can save up to 50% in PCB space and 10% in component cost. For example, the BGU7005 comes in a 1.45 mm x 1 mm package with an application area of only 4.53 mm2. This is 50% smaller than a comparable solution with a 9.06 mm2 application area. NXP’s GNSS LNAs also offer the best reception of weak signals because of dynamic suppression of strong transmit signals. Compared to other solutions, NXP’s GNSS LNAs increase gain and current rather than going into compression. The GNSS signal is amplified for as long as possible even when strong jammers are present.
