Product List
NKK’s tilt switches can be used to replace reed, limit, pendulum, and mercury switches in certain applications. Specifically, reed switches require two components to actuate while the tilt switch is only one component. Limit switches require actuation from a moving component that physically touches it while the tilt switch only needs to tilt. Pendulum switches are larger and more difficult to mount than tilt switches. Finally, mercury switches are not RoHS compliant while NKK’s tilt switches are.
