To help aid in facilitating touch development on these 7.0" BeagleBone Capes, Newhaven Display’s engineers created operating system images to correspond to popular operating systems like Linux or Arduino. These free, ready-to-download OS images allow users to utilize BeagleBone’s built-in touch features and begin developing with touch as though they’ve been developing with touch for years. These images can be found as downloadable links and are a great starting point when first developing with the 7.0" BeagleBone Capes and the BeagleBone Black Board.
