The fact that the private key is generated entirely inside the ATECC508A, ensures a solid randomness of the key generation. The key is never readable nor known by anyone. The certificates are handled by world class Hardware Secure Module in the state of the art Secure Microchip facilities. Consequently, all the manufacturing hurdles have been removed for the customer to concentrate on the product development.
