TE Connectivity is a global designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based systems which measure pressure/force, position, vibration, temperature, humidity, and fluid properties. They are at the heart of many everyday products and provide a vital link to the physical world. The Model 805 is a miniature adhesive mount IEPE accelerometer built on a 3-pin TO-5 header. It incorporates a stable piezo-ceramic crystal and an integrated charge converter amplifier in a 100% shielded housing suitable for many embedded OEM applications. The accelerometer is offered in two configurations; one for adhesive mounting and an optional stud mounted version. This miniature device offers a very small footprint for a single axis accelerometer. The welded steel housing makes it possible to offer an integral stud option. With ranges up to as high as 500 gs and two or three wire power options, the 805 has a very flat bandwidth to 10 kHz and excellent signal resolution.
