The HTU21D has a relative humidity range of 0 to 100% RH and a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Storage range is -40°C to +125°C. It operates from 1.5 to 3.6 Vdc and provides an I²C interface. Users can expect data transfer rates up to 400 kHz with no external components required. It has a small package with dimensions of 3.0 mm x 3.0 mm x 0.9 mm and recovers from condensing humidity within 10 seconds. It is good for battery powered applications and resolution can be adjusted. Lower resolution results in a faster response time. Other communication protocols include PWM and SDM with analog output.
