UV curing is the polymerization of materials through UV light. The process is widely used across industries and print is the largest UV LED curing application. UV LED wins more on functionality than its operational savings. A medium sized curing system can have as many as 3,000 tightly packed LEDs – meaning that thermal management (usually liquid cooling) becomes critical.
