The LTC3623 is a high efficiency, ±5A synchronous buck regulator that incorporates a constant frequency controlled on-time, current mode architecture, with programmable output current and output voltage in a compact QFN package. Vout is programmed with a single external resistor. The device operates from an input voltage range of 4V to 15V and provides an adjustable rail-to-rail output voltage range from 0V to 0.5V below VIN, while delivering up to plus and minus 5A of continuous output current, both sinking and sourcing. Its wide input and output voltage range makes it ideal for a wide range of DDR memory, dual-cell Li-Ion powered systems, fixed 5V and 12V intermediate buses, and industrial applications.
