This chip incorporates a multiplicity of RF inputs (High band, Low band and Broad band) and outputs to enable a wide range of features to be implemented and its 12-bit ADC and DAC blocks allow it to directly interface with virtually any baseband, DSP and FPGA ICs. The LMS6002D has a standard Serial Port Interface (SPI) for programming and includes provisions for a full RF calibration. The device combines LNA, PA driver, RX/TX mixers, RX/TX filters, synthesizers, RX gain control, and TX power control with very few external components. DAC, ADC, filters and LNAs can be by-passed to fulfill specific requirements.
