The Tone Board can be used in two ways. The first is by connecting it with a Khadas VIM single board computer that can be ordered from DigiKey using the part numbers starting with KVIM1 and KVIM2 (ex. KVIM1-x-002 and KVIM2-x-002). It supports S/PDIF IN and OUT, and has reserved interfaces such as I²C, I²S, and ADC. Power and audio data will be supplied from the Khadas VIM SBC.
