The THB test, which stands for temperature humidity bias, highlights the better performances of F862 in comparison with any standard X2. The test is carried out at 85°C, 85% relative humidity at 240 VAC. Capacitance drop must be within 10% and dissipation factor change less than or equal to five times 10-3 (at 1 kHz) after 1,000 hours. Standard X2 capacitors do not have the same excellent performances due to the different selection of raw materials and typology of the production process.
