The waterproof MX23A is a low-profile type with a board mounting height of 18.3 mm and socket connector height of 22.2 mm maximum for 12 to 34 positions. It offers a small form factor with 2.5 mm pitch which is ideal for automotive space. A socket contact with a double fin structure improves retention reliability. It delivers up to 3 A for signal and 7 A power in ambient temperature of +85ºC. Applicable wire sizes include 0.3 mm² to 1.25 mm² nominal cross-section with an operating temperature range from -40 to +125°C. The front cap retainer functions like a TPA, ensuring socket terminal position. Reverse mounting type pin connector models with pins facing up are also available.
