The EN6340QI and EN6363QI PowerSoC modules are 4-A and 6-A DC-DC non-isolated step-down converters with integrated inductors that deliver an excellent combination of small solution size and performance. These integrated PowerSoC modules are optimized to deliver high conversion efficiency, low output voltage ripple, fast load transient response, and tight output voltage accuracy. The EN6340QI and EN6363QI are designed to meet the precise voltage and fast transient requirements of present and future high-performance low-power processor, DSP, FPGA, memory boards and system level applications in distributed power architectures. The devices integrate the inductor, MOSFET switches, small-signal circuits and compensation in an advanced 4 mm x 6 mm x 2.5 mm 34-pin QFN Package. A high switching frequency of 2 MHz allows the use of small 0805 case size input and output capacitors. With a solution size of only 60 mm2, the EN6340QI and EN6363QI PowerSoCs are ideal for space constrained applications that cannot sacrifice performance. The EN6340QI and EN6363QI devices operate from a 2.7 V - 6.6 V input voltage range, and the output can be adjusted as low as 0.6 V using external feedback resistors. The devices feature excellent voltage feedback accuracy of +/-1.5% over line, load and temperature with an initial voltage feedback accuracy of +/- 0.5%. The EN6340QI/EN6363QI can provide full rated output current up to 85°C with no airflow.
