Shown here is a comparison of the TLE4973 with the TLI4971, the TLE4971, and the TLE4972. The main differences are: the supply voltage is 5 V instead of 3.3, it has only one overcurrent detection pin instead of two, and it offers a true single-ended output only. It also offers a single wire UART (DCDI) that allows for diagnostics in system programmability, and it does not require an external 20 V source to reconfigure the device. Finally, it has an Infineon CHIP ID in the EEPROM.
