This slide displays the HX3 block diagram. It has an integrated Arm® Cortex® M0 MCU for flexible customization and I²C interface for EEPROM communication. It has both USB 5 Gbps PHY and USB 2.0 PHY with routing logic in the data streams. Also, HX3 is certified to USB IF, Windows Hardware Quality Labs, and has also passed AEC qualification. It has undergone extensive testing at every PlugFest, as well as third-party lab testing. The USB 2.0 data path has a full transaction translator to manage between USB 1.1 12 Mbps and USB 2.0 480 Mbps conversions.
