Illustrated here is the Hirose unique clamp structure. This design is simple in nature, has a minimum of parts and allows for quick and easy assembly. When tightened, the tightening cap exerts pressure on the gasket via the clamp and at the same time exerts pressure on the clamp to grip the cable. So cable sealing and a strengthened cable retention force are achieved in one operation.
