HARTING has added to the flexible and versatile portfolio offered with the miniaturized PCB connector 1.27 mm pitch har-flex® series with the introduction of power variants for even greater scope of freedom of design. Current ratings of up to 18 A per contact are now available and are offered as either a power connector or a hybrid solution combining power and signals in one connector. The user can therefore select either separate connectors for power and signal or combine both into a single connector, all from the same product family. These power variants reduce the space required for power transmission when compared to previous solutions where users may have conducted power via several signal contacts connected in parallel. Thanks to har-flex Power, the power can now be transmitted over approximately half the required surface area. The har-flex Hybrid combination eliminates the use of separate power and signal connectors on the board. Both lifelines are thereby combined in a single space-saving connection.
