The different chemistries available have their own strengths and weaknesses. Acrylics have good abrasion and impact resistances but can be brittle and have poor resistance to solvents. Urethanes are considered tough and flexible, but do not perform well at high temperatures. Epoxies are hard and have good chemical resistance, but can be too rigid for sensitive components. Silicones are flexible and provide good temperature resistance, but have poor strength and abrasion resistance. With the Macromelt (polyamide) technology, it will provide fast processing but low temperature resistance.
