In Summary, Grayhill’s Series 3D50 Display provides a responsive touch-screen interface for applications in agriculture and construction vehicles. The Responsive PCAP touch screen works with bare or gloved fingers even in wet/dirty environments. Using the Grayhill VUI Builder or Qt, create applications, gauges, and custom graphic icons. The development kit is available in two versions. The full kit includes a touchscreen display and the basic development kit is available without the display. This would be appropriate for someone that already has a display or would prefer to develop on a non-touch version. The Series 3D50 Display device has two CAN bus interfaces that can be used for various purposes. Grayhill VUI Builder© software communicates with the 3D50 Display via either CAN bus. The VUI Builder software tool currently supports using a GridConnect USB to CAN adapter which requires adapter software from GridConnect, which can be obtained from the disc included in the kit or by downloading from www.gridconnect.com. The Qt is a Cross Platform Development Technology that is ideal for software developers familiar with coding for human interface applications. The VUI Builder is ideal for engineers that wish to quickly create common vehicle functions. Coding is not required to quickly create the most common functions.
