This slide illustrates the WORM operation flow. Flexxon’s WORM card supports WORM mode by default, and users can read/write on the WORM card without the requirement of any additional software/configurations. When an illegal action is detected, the WORM card will turn into “write protected” mode. Once it has turned into write protected mode, the user is required to reinsert WORM card in order to carry out the next write. For the customers information, writing a new file or creating a new directory is considered a legal behavior to Flexxon’s WORM card. Any action that can affect integrity of the data will be treated as illegal action to the WORM card such as, altering existing data, overwriting data, renaming file/directory, deleting file/directory, disk formatting, and parallel writing.
