The new SG-8101 series is a high accuracy Programmable Crystal Oscillator that also utilizes the new Fractional-N PLL technology to feature the following; wide programmable frequency range from 0.67MHz to 170MHz with 1ppm resolution, and available frequency tolerance options of ±15ppm, ±20ppm, and ±50ppm. It includes initial frequency tolerance, temperature variation, supply voltage variation, reflow drift, load drift, and 1 year aging. They also feature a wide operating temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC and -40ºC to 105ºC, low operating voltage from 1.8V to 3.3V, low power consumption of less than 8.1mA max at 170MHz, programmable output function (either enable or standby), and programmable rise & fall times. The SG-8101 series is available in 4 standard packages, 2.5 x 2.0mm, 3.2 x 2.5mm, 5.0 x 3.2mm, and 7.0 x 5.0mm packages in a standard 4-pin pin-out. The frequency, frequency tolerance, temperature, output function, and rise & fall times are all programmable, as indicated by the red arrows. The available frequency tolerance and temperature option combinations available are shown in the table below.
