There are a handful of important parameters to consider when designing with a crystal device. There are no general parameters for the oscillation circuit since they differ due to IC characteristics, printed pattern layout, and oscillation frequency. To help designers, Epson offers both kHz and MHz crystal oscillators that are pre-optimized for low power with stable frequency oscillation and waveform, which virtually eliminates the need of a discrete board-level oscillation circuit design and evaluation.
